PravUM implements preparation and examination of contracts and agreements on intellectual property, and represents their registration in the Kyrgyz Intellectual Property Office.

We do not use model agreements or standard forms. - To issue an exclusive, non-exclusive or sub-license (to give in temporary compensated use);
- To issue a complex business license (on terms of franchising, commercial concession).
Documents requested for the registration of contract in the Kyrgyz Intellectual Property Office
Data on the right holder (licensor) and the right acquirer (licensee) to be requested for preparation of contracts, including:
- Name of company (full and short) as set out in the company charter;
- Legal address as set out in the charter;
- Address de facto for correspondence;
- Fax and Phone numbers;
- Name and title of head of the company who signs the contract (or authorized person);
- Banking details of the company;
- OKPO codes and TIN of the company;
Private individual (the right holder or the right acquirer) should provide passport details; private businessman should provide registration data.
Information on the agreement achieved on main provisions of Contract to be requested for preparation of Contract:
- Scope of rights to be assigned including in form of license (exclusive or non-exclusive);
- License validity period (validity period of contract);
- Contract validity territories;
- Fee payment procedure (royalty, lump-sum payments, etc.);
- Other conditions to be set out in contract on the parties’ request.
Document to be requested for registration of Contract:
- Original copy of patent or certificate of the intellectual property object;
- Power of attorney to be submitted to the Kyrgyz Intellectual Property Office;
- If a sublicense contract is signed, the original copy and one certified copy of basic contract are requested.
- For international trademarks an extract from the international Register of Trademarks WIPO is requested, or an extract from ROMARIN international database.
Period of preparation and registration of Contract
Period of examination or preparation of contract, and a compilation of application materials by us will be 5-15 days. Period of registration of contract takes 30 days and can be extended for two months in case of request from the Kyrgyz Intellectual Property Office.

Cost of execution, completion and registration of a copyright contract at PravUM is $200 USD.
Fee to the Kyrgyz Intellectual Property Office for registration of a copyright contract is $14 USD.
Registration of Contract on the assignment or licensing of a patent
Cost of execution, completion and registration of contract on the assignment/licensing of a patent at PravUM figures up to $200 – $900 USD depending on complexity of the contract. Fee to the Kyrgyz Intellectual Property Office for registration of the assignment contract (alienation of rights to a patent) amounts to $150 USD for each patent. Fee to the Kyrgyz Intellectual Property Office for registration of the licensing contract amounts to $100 USD + 50 for each additional patent over one.
Registration of Contract on the assignment or licensing of a trademark
Cost of execution, completion and registration of contract on the assignment/licensing of a trademark at PravUM figures up to $250 – $900 USD depending on complexity of the contract. Fee to the Kyrgyz Intellectual Property Office for registration of the trademark assignment contract amounts to $300 USD for each trademark. Fee to the Kyrgyz Intellectual Property Office for registration of the trademark licensing contract amounts to $300 USD for each trademark and $200 USD for each additional trademark over one specified in the contract.
Registration of Contract on the assignment or licensing of technology, know-how, engineering, franchising
Cost of execution, completion and registration of contract on the assignment/licensing of technology, know-how, engineering, franchising at PravUM depends on the time PravUM has spent on the procedure. Fee to the Kyrgyz Intellectual Property Office for registration of the assignment contract amounts to $100 USD for each object specified in the contract.
